Meet Jasper — a handsome, middle-aged gentleman with the body of a panther and the voice of a kitten.

Seriously. His tiny, squeaky mew will melt your heart and probably make you laugh. It’s hard to believe such a big, confident cat can have such a sweet little voice.

Jasper’s story with Cat Noir Rescue began when he was found living as a stray on the streets of Los Angeles. A kind woman had been feeding and caring for him, but she couldn’t bring him indoors and struggled to find a rescue able to help. That’s when Cat Noir Rescue stepped in and gave Jasper the chance to leave street life behind.

Jasper was eventually adopted, and we thought his rescue story had found its happy ending. Unfortunately, some time later, Jasper unexpectedly found himself without a home once again. Thankfully, because he remained microchipped to Cat Noir Rescue, we were contacted and able to bring him safely back into our care.

Now Jasper is getting something he absolutely deserves: another chance to find a family who will love him for the rest of his life.

And whoever gets this boy is getting a pretty incredible cat.

Jasper is the perfect balance of affectionate and independent. He loves attention and will happily curl up on your lap, but he’s also perfectly content doing his own thing. He may follow you from room to room just to keep tabs on his favorite human and make sure he isn’t missing anything important.

Confident and social, Jasper enjoys greeting new people and being part of the household. He uses his litter box reliably and settles beautifully into indoor life. He loves being near his people without needing constant attention, making him an easygoing companion with just the right amount of independence.

He’s calm, self-assured, affectionate, and endlessly endearing. Jasper isn’t looking for much — just a comfortable home, people to love, and the security of knowing that this time, he’s home for good.
